As part of our awareness and information campaign, the Dobra Družba union unit has started a weekly diary of unionist Aphrodite. The purpose of the diary is to share first-hand stories and the pulse of the industry. I started doing prostitution because I had debts. 3 years ago, I was terribly bored and signed up on Avanture. A gentleman offered me 150 EUR for a 3-hour meeting. Pleasant and useful. Because this money was a huge amount for me and we corresponded a lot and also talked on the phone, I grew fond of him. With a lot of courage, I went to this gentleman for an escort in Ljubljana. I enjoyed it to the fullest, we fulfilled each other's fetishes and developed a deep friendship. I visited him 2-3 times a month; he was my only client at the time, and I was always happy to see him. Once he told me about the professionals on the 'sloescort' site.
The Decision to Turn Pro
When he told me that the ladies earn 60-80 EUR for half-hour meetings even though they are rude and their service is poor, I decided to try it myself. I started advertising on Avanture, took some naked pictures without my face, and looked for clients who could host me in their spaces (hotel or apartment). I arranged meetings via e-mail and dedicated a lot of time to this activity. My prices were too low at the time for my top-notch service. In this way, I met with three new clients; about 20 others were not serious and did not keep their appointments. My 3 new clients were OK, and I enjoyed my time with them too. The third client invited me to his place a second time and introduced me to 6 girls who worked for him voluntarily. At first, it was a shock. But then I was very happy to meet them. They taught me how to accept clients over the phone without prior correspondence and questions. 60 EUR for half an hour of sex, oral, massage, kissing, toys, and anal for an extra charge.
Falling in Love with the Profession
I fell in love with this profession. I enjoyed it with almost every client in a way I never had with my many past lovers. They also taught me about safe sex. I had rarely used condoms before, but with professional work, they became a matter of course. I enjoyed erotica and sex like never before. I had 6 sexy combinations of erotic lingerie (nurse, French maid, cleaner, etc.). The gentleman who provided us with the apartment for this activity charged 60 EUR per day, and we could come whenever we wanted. He had a friendly and kind relationship with all the girls. All were Slovenian citizens like me, and we were free. In 2 months, I paid off 4000 EUR of debt and also furnished my house and bought many new things. No job had ever given me such pleasure and a wonderful salary. I have been doing this for 3 years now. During this time, I have changed 8 work locations, met over 30 colleagues, and gained a huge amount of knowledge about everything related to prostitution.
The Need for Guidance and Support
Despite this, I was uneducated because I didn't know I could officially register my activity. My profession brings me from 2000 to 5000 € per month, and I still enjoy it with clients. The common characteristic of all girls who are in prostitution is that we all learn from our own experiences, and if we are lucky, we come across a good collective at the beginning. We also learn from the environment in which we work. As a beginner, I searched online for instructions for this type of work, but I couldn't find any, and being inexperienced with escorts, I risked my life. My wish is that every girl who wants to start working as a sex worker and every girl who is already doing it and is not satisfied with her working conditions turns to us. I am also a mother who takes good care of her child. At this point, I would like to highlight the pressure of lies and concealment from my surroundings for the sake of a good name. This profession is not easy, and many girls face difficult situations regarding hiding their activities. It is important to have someone you can completely trust and release your emotions, doubts, worries, and joys to. With this wish, I joined the Dobra Družba association, where we respect, understand, and do not judge sex workers. We want to improve the working conditions and safety in Slovenia.
