PUBLIC CALL FOR COOPERATION: Sexual Surrogacy Project in a Professional Therapeutic Framework

At Dobra Družba, we are opening space for a new, demanding, and socially important project.

Introduction

At Dobra Družba, we are opening space for a new, demanding, and socially important project: the development of a therapeutic model of sexual surrogacy, which will take place exclusively in cooperation with experts in the fields of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and sex work research.

We invite to cooperate: sex workers, escorts, creators in the adult industry, and experts in the fields of mental health, psychotherapy, psychology, sociology, and sexology.

This call is not a commercial advertisement. It is the beginning of a structured, research, and therapeutic process that requires responsibility, maturity, and a clear ethical stance.

What is sexual surrogacy (in this project)?

Sexual surrogacy in our framework is not prostitution and is not a substitute for psychotherapy. It is a therapeutic support role that operates under clear professional guidelines and in cooperation with qualified therapists.

The aim is to help individuals facing: deep social or intimate anxiety, bodily dissociation, trauma related to closeness or touch, long-term loneliness, fear of intimate relationships, inability to establish safe contact.

The Role of the Surrogate

Surrogate therapeutic collaborator: acts as a support person in the therapeutic process, does not work independently but in cooperation with a therapist, helps in learning safe closeness, communication, and bodily presence, respects strictly defined boundaries and protocols, does not 'cure' but enables an experience that the therapist analyzes and guides.

It is a very responsible role that requires a high level of personal maturity.

Our Basic Criteria for Cooperation

We will not include everyone in the project. Selectivity is necessary for the safety of all involved.

For sex workers / candidates: emotional stability and self-reflection, ability to hold clear personal and professional boundaries, mature attitude towards the body, closeness, and responsibility, readiness for education and supervision, understanding that this is not a commercial service, discretion, reliability, and respect for the process.

For professional collaborators: professional competence and experience, openness to interdisciplinary cooperation, ethical sensitivity, readiness to co-create a new treatment model, awareness of the social sensitivity of the project.

Educational Process (in preparation)

Within the Institute for Sex Work Research, we will develop in the next phase: educational and certification process, basic knowledge of psychology and psychoanalysis, work with trauma and vulnerable groups, ethics, boundaries, and safety, understanding of transference and countertransference, supervision, and ongoing support for participants.

No one will enter the project without appropriate preparation.

Positive Predictions – What This Project Can Bring

If the project is carried out responsibly, we can achieve: help for people who are invisible in the system today, reduction of loneliness, isolation, and social anxiety, development of safe, controlled forms of therapeutic contact, expansion of existing therapeutic practices, professional upgrade of the role of sex workers, reduction of risky, impulsive, and unregulated situations, long-term social relief of certain distresses.

It is a slow but deep effect, not quick fixes.

Negative Predictions and Risks (Which We Warn About)

The project also carries real risks: media stigmatization and misinterpretations, misunderstanding of the difference between therapy and service, legal gray areas requiring caution, danger of unsuitable candidates, emotional overload without appropriate supervision, social resistance, and moral panic.

Therefore, we emphasize: the project will develop slowly, selectively, and under strict conditions.

Invitation to Responsible Cooperation

If: you feel you have the maturity and capacity for this role, you want to participate in the development of a new therapeutic model, you understand the difference between work, therapy, and responsibility, you are ready for education and self-reflection, we invite you to contact us.

This project is not for everyone. But it can be an important step for those who understand the weight of touch, closeness, and responsibility.
