In this year's edition of the erotics fair in Celje, the organizers are preparing a diverse interactive erotic program which will be performed by sex workers - adult industry actors from abroad. We must emphasize that these are economic migrants who perform sex work, which means that this is a totally legitimate and transparent job. This is written with the intention of countering the stereotypical condemnation of sex work. The visitors of the fair, numbering just under 15,000 each year, are people who accept this industry as something normal, as they can also buy accessories to spice up their sex life at the fair. In the Balkans, Slovenia is a leading country in liberalism and open sexuality, despite occasional controversies about same-sex families and individuals, who are statistically highly ranked per capita.
Dobra Družba's Response
In the Dobra Družba Organization, we also notice a large presence of same-sex workers in commercial sexuality. Due to the demand for sex work in Slovenia and abroad, we were forced to react as representatives of sex workers with: The First Work-Touristic SEX WORK EXCHANGE.
Sex Work Exchange
The association informs and raises awareness among all those (membership is a condition) who wish to voluntarily work as a sex worker abroad where sex work is permitted. Based on a cooperation agreement with a migration agency in Australia, we have prepared a prize for the first 4 individuals who wish to travel and work (Working Holidays). The prize is a plane ticket from Europe to Australia where our partner, who has been arranging work and life for Slovenians in Australia for 20 years, will welcome you. We inform about positive and negative work trends in Slovenia, Asia, and Europe. Through our information, sex workers can get various sex work jobs directly with employers or sex worker organizations in these countries.
After-Party and Other Activities
On Friday and Saturday after the fair, we will be guests of the Crystal nightclub in Celje, which will offer a special night program for visitors with an erotic artistic performance. As regional representatives of the PornCoin platform, it will be possible to arrange subscriptions and get instructions for use at our office at the fair.
