Photo Recap of the First Day of Training for Actor/Actress and Videographer
A Successful Start in Prekmurje
Event Summary
The first Slovenian training for sex workers in Prekmurje concluded its first day beyond expectations. The event was covered by the Svet na Kanalu A team, who will feature excerpts in their show. Fifteen candidates from Slovenia applied for the training, which tells us that people want to do what they dream of in life. However, only three came to the course itself, from which we could conclude that about twenty percent are those who would like to try to participate.
Expert Collaboration
We always invite external expert collaborators to our professional training, such as COCO DE MAL in this case. The porn actress has a wealth of experience from filming around the world and comes from Serbia, which facilitates communication between her and the trainees. COCO DE MAL provided a practical demonstration, which we rounded off with a recorded porn scene. We want the trainees to gain knowledge from people who are directly connected to and work in the adult industry.
Videographer Training
A candidate for the profession of videographer also applied, and his training was taken over by the director and screenwriter of Dobra Družba. The first day proved to be very good, as the candidate had a background in photography. He was also offered a job in a Slovenian porn production house, which is expected to be established next year.
Media Coverage and Future Plans
The enthusiasm of the news crews was hard to miss. They filmed the all-day event discreetly, as we do not want to reveal information about the trainees, yet they captured the entirety of the course and also conducted interviews with the organization and candidates who wished to be featured. We will compile the three-day training into a documentary film by Dobra Družba, in which we want to show the complexity and professionalism of our organization. In April 2019, we will again organize a course for all those who missed this one, and we will also expand our activities to the countries of the former Yugoslavia.
